 This new compact router from Porter-Cable offers the comfortable ergonomics of a trim router with the power and features of its full-sized brethren. With 1-1/4 hp, it's perfect for a variety of tasks, from trimming laminate, cutting flutes, edge profiling and even mortising with the plunge base (sold separately). The all-metal motor can is designed to stand up to jobsite abuse, and the motor features soft-start and electronic speed control to maintain its speed under loads. An intuitive depth adjustment ring, quick-release tabs and an adjustable clamp make adjustments a snap. |
The 1/4" collet is extra-long for better contact with the bit, and the spindle lock features a large button and 12 detentes for easy bit changes. Clear sub-base for optimum visibility.
